MEET THE STAFF
||Tim Collins: Program / Music Director
Tim has been in Radio for 15 years. He worked at WXKZ, in Prestonsburg, for a short period of time in the early 90's, then worked at WKLW in Paintsville for 10 years, and has been with WSIP since 2004. He also owned his own mobile DJ Service from 1990 till 2002. "I really enjoy working in "Country Radio" and hope the listeners like what they hear, because without them we wounldn't be here". You can listen to Tim between 8:30 am till 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

James Butcher: Account Executive
James is a 1987 graduate of Johnson Central High School, and he later attended
Mayo State VoTech, along with Prestonsburg Community College, now part of
Big Sandy Community and Technical system. James went on to attend Morehead
State University before coming back to Paintsville to settle into duties at WSIP.
He left WSIP in the late 1990’s to take a job with Nestle Foods but still continued
to be involved with sports broadcasts while in the Mount Sterling and Owensville areas.
James returned to Paintsville and to Forcht Broadcasting in 2003 for a short while
before moving to the Corbin area, where he covered the North Laurel Jaguars and
South Laurel Cardinals for Forcht Broadcasting stations in London, eventually
moving over to sales and continuing in sales until returning home to help promote
WKLW FM in the community. James is excited to be back home and looks forward to
seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
